Terms of Service

1. The Service

snapshots.cloud is an AI-powered cinema platform that transforms user-uploaded photos and videos into cinematic short films. Access is currently by invitation only. We reserve the right to accept or decline any access request at our sole discretion.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have explicitly accepted these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy at the time of registration. Accounts created with false age information will be terminated.

3. Your Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all photographs and media you upload. By uploading content to snapshots.cloud, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, transform, and store your media for the sole purpose of delivering the service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your photos. We do not use your personal photos to train AI models. We do not share your original uploads with any third party except as required to deliver the service (e.g., AI processing APIs under strict data handling agreements).

4. Content You May Not Upload

• Content depicting minors in any sexual or inappropriate context
• Content you do not own or have rights to
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Content intended to harass, defame, or harm any individual
• Synthetic or AI-generated images of real people without their consent

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate them. For the full list of prohibited content and behaviours, see our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your original uploaded photos. AI-processed output delivered to you — including Cinema films, restored photos, and enhanced images — is assigned to you by snapshots.cloud. We make no competing claim to the finished work delivered to your account.

The snapshots.cloud platform, branding, logo, and software are our exclusive intellectual property. Your account grants you a license to use the platform, not to copy or redistribute it.

6. Pricing & Payment

snapshots.cloud uses a per-element pricing model. Cinema films are priced at $2.50 per photo or video element, with a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 15 elements per film. You are charged once per film at the time you submit it for rendering. A 10-element film costs $25.00; a 15-element film costs $37.50.

All purchases are one-time charges — there are no subscriptions, no prepaid credit wallets, and no recurring billing unless we introduce subscription plans in the future and you explicitly opt in.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the stated amount. snapshots.cloud never stores or has access to your raw card data; all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect orders already placed and paid for.

If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact hello@snapshots.cloud within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate promptly.

7. Refunds & Quality

We stand behind every film we deliver. If something went wrong on our end, we will make it right. Technical failures are refunded automatically. Quality concerns and billing issues are reviewed personally — contact us at hello@snapshots.cloud within 14 days of delivery and we will work with you to reach a fair resolution, which may include a partial or full refund at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

snapshots.cloud is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, output quality, or the availability of any specific AI model or third-party service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe content on snapshots.cloud infringes your copyright, please refer to our DMCA & Copyright Policy for full instructions on submitting a takedown notice. It is our policy to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy (see Privacy Policy). Unused purchases for unrendered films will be refunded upon termination unless the termination was due to a policy violation.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email and you will be asked to review and accept the updated terms at your next login before continuing to use the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sacramento County, California.
